l\u2019histoire de la ville de Nantes, m\u00e9lange de fortunes et de trag\u00e9dies. Se r\u00e9f\u00e9rant aux terres lointaines, il propose un paysage surr\u00e9aliste en imaginant, \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de la fontaine repr\u00e9sentant la Loire et ses affluents, une \u00eele, un d\u00e9sert, une oasis fant\u00f4me.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019aspect fossilis\u00e9, ces arbres venus de continents et d\u2019\u00e8res diffe\u0301rents \u2013 un palmier, une souche, un arbre tropical pr\u00e9historique aujourd\u2019hui disparu \u2013 sont comme endormis. Assoupies, peut-\u00eatre r\u00e9fugi\u00e9es ou rescap\u00e9es, elles semblent provenir d\u2019un autre monde. Les arbres apparaissent alors comme des refuges, jaillis d\u2019un temps ancien o\u00f9 nos anc\u00eatres habitaient les for\u00eats.
