paysages soumis et exploit\u00e9s par l\u2019homme pour en extraire des ressources, des mines \u00e0 ciel ouvert. \u00c0 la fa\u00e7on d\u2019un inventaire, ses images r\u00e9v\u00e8lent des sites qui s\u2019imposent par leur dimension spectaculaire, leur g\u00e9ographie et leur contexte environnemental. Dans ces immensit\u00e9s on distingue \u00e0 peine les flux des hommes et des machines. Titans est le nom donn\u00e9 par H\u00e9siode dans la mythologie grecque aux dieux originels, enfants d\u2019Ouranos le Ciel et de Ga\u00efa la Terre, puissances brutes qui contribu\u00e8rent \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation du monde. Pour l\u2019artiste ces paysages sont l\u2019expression et le t\u00e9moignage de forces de destruction qui peuvent conduire \u00e0 l\u2019an\u00e9antissement de vastes \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes. Dans une d\u00e9marche de d\u00e9contextualisation, dans le temps et l\u2019espace, il conf\u00e8re \u00e0 ses photographies une dimension particuli\u00e8re entre r\u00e9el et imaginaire, entre qui\u00e9tude et ambivalence.
