Un personnage du m\u00eame nom appara\u00eet dans le roman <em>Hyp\u00e9rion<\/em> (1797) et se trouve \u00eatre l\u2019incarnation divine de Susette Gontard, femme que H\u00f6lderlin a profond\u00e9ment aim\u00e9. Son \u0153uvre litt\u00e9raire, indissociable de son exp\u00e9rience v\u00e9cue, s\u2019est infiniment nourrie de cette histoire d\u2019amour dont le destin tragique a boulevers\u00e9 et son \u00e9criture et sa vie. Ici, Laurent Pernot propose la sculpture d\u2019un visage tel un masque, qui s\u2019apparente \u00e0 une d\u00e9esse romaine antique, fragilis\u00e9e, et dont le regard \u00e9br\u00e9ch\u00e9 est anim\u00e9 par la pr\u00e9sence lumineuse de deux flammes. Les yeux ainsi \u00e9clair\u00e9s vibrent d\u2019une lumi\u00e8re diaphane, chaleureuse mais \u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re\u00a0; ils sugg\u00e8rent ce lien que H\u00f6lderlin tissait sans cesse entre les \u00e9l\u00e9ments naturels et les sentiments humains, ici le feu et l\u2019amour.
